Shipping Policy – FOB (Free on Board) Condition

Traction adopts the FOB (Free on Board) shipping term. This means that the selling company's responsibility ends once the goods are delivered to the agreed-upon location (factory, warehouse, or other designated point). From that point onward, all costs and risks related to transportation fall under the buyer's responsibility.

1. General Conditions

The goods will be made available at Lufer's address or another previously agreed-upon location.

The buyer is responsible for contracting transportation and for direct payment to the chosen carrier.

Vehicle loading will be carried out by Lufer, ensuring the integrity of the material until loading is complete.

2. Traction's Responsibilities

Make the goods available as ordered, within the agreed-upon timeframe.

Ensure proper packaging and conditioning of the product to allow for safe transport.

Communicate the pickup date and time to the buyer in advance.

3. Buyer's Responsibilities

Contract and bear all transportation costs, insurance (if desired), and other logistical charges after pickup.

Ensure that the contracted carrier is capable and authorized to perform the collection.

Assume all risks of loss, damage, or misplacement from the moment the cargo is handed over to the carrier.

4. Deadlines and Scheduling

The buyer must schedule pickup from Monday to Friday from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM. If the carrier does not appear within the stipulated period, rescheduling will be necessary as described above.

5. Cargo Insurance

Transportation insurance is the sole responsibility of the buyer.

Lufer is not responsible for damages, losses, or accidents occurring after the goods are handed over to the carrier.

6. Exceptions

In specific situations and by formal agreement, Lufer may assist in recommending partner carriers, without assuming responsibility for transportation.

Any change to the FOB condition must be recorded in writing between the parties.
